Hi,
Up for sale is a 1996 Ernie Ball Musicman Fretless H. Body is honey-burst, neck is pau ferro fingerboard on birdseye maple. This bass has a recessed neck plate, which was only available for a few years in the late 90's. Condition is 9+. I can't find any marks or other issues with this bass. A bit of fingerboard wear (not unusual for a 14 year old bass). Definitely not extensive wear.
I bought this bass about 3 1/2 years ago from fellow TB'er, Brim. I've put maybe 20 hours on the bass since this time and I've only played one show with her.
Brim pointed out in his
original post that "the neck has one dead spot at the 7th fret line on the G string (D note). The note fades very quickly and does not sustain. I learned to play around it." This must be very subtle, as I have not noticed a dead spot myself. Your mileage may vary. Of course, I am selling the bass as is. Really, the bass is beautiful!
I'm pricing this to sell quickly.
$700 shipped CONUS - Paypal only please. No international buyers. NO TRADES (sorry guys!).
Included, is the bass and a black tolex hardshell case (NOT the OHSC).
This is $75 less than I paid for the bass and that was over three years ago!
Note: Ignore the date stamps listed in some of the pics. I assure you that I did not travel 65 years in the future with this bass.
