Hi fellow TB-ers,
I have an Ernie Ball Music Man Bongo 6 HS for sell in a new / like new condition. I bought this bass from Bass Central last year, and I only played the bass twice in my non-smoking and no pet practicing room twice (that's correct, twice for only about 10 minutes each) since the bass arrived. The bass still even has the tag on it, and the pick guard still has the plastic covered.
Being a fan of Dream Theater, I bought this bass because I'm also a big fan of John Myung (as you can see from the HS config. and Sterling Silver finish with black pickguard, although I believe he plays the black finish nowadays). I don't have any 5 or 6 strings bass, so I bought this bass to play the Dream Theater songs, because most of them required at least 5 string (low B) bass. Also, I already own a Music Man Bongo 4 HH which is my main bass right now; therefore, I know that this Music Man Bongo 6 won't disappoint.
The main reason I'm selling this bass is because I never have time to play it. The bass has been stayed inside the hardshell case all the time, and I even put the hardshell case inside the shipping box to protect it and avoid dust. I love this bass especially the looks and the finish, but I really never have time to transcribe, learn, and practice the Dream Theater songs because of school and works. Besides, I also now realize that I'm more of the 4 strings guy.
I'm asking $1500 OBO + shipping (Paypal preferred) for this bass. If you would like to get this bass insured, just let me know. I also include a new set of D'Addario Pro Steels 6 strings, so you can have a fresh string to support this bass as a new condition. Return is accepted within 7 days as long as the bass is returned in the same condition, and also with a very good reason, of course
