Got this used from a CT local friend of mine back in April, he bought it used two years ago. I love this bass but I'm looking to get back into short scales, and as much as I'd love to keep it as a backup, I'm not really in a financial state to be able to do so. The only difference in the pictures is that the pickguard broke off during a gig, so there's no pickguard on it (I love the look of it without one, but you can find them second hand for relatively inexpensive). There are absolutely no scratches on the body (I'm not even sure you CAN scratch the paint on these, haha), and there's only a little wear on the neck paint (the headstock does show a little wear, but I kind of like the way it looks - you can see it in the pictures). Plays like a dream, just had it set up and will do a quick intonation / neck job on it before I send it off.
Local pickup available in CT, I'd even debate delivering for a few extra bucks. Looking for $400 if possible, if you're interested and out of state, please let me know and I'll figure out shipping costs. Sad to part with this, but times as they are...

I know little to nothing about the cost of these beyond that they were originally 650ish. I got it from the guy who sold it to me for about 500, so I figured 400 was reasonable but if anyone knows any different please feel free to drop the knowledge hammer. ;]

This goes for any trade, really. If I were to trade I'd actually be interested in trading down for something like a Squier CV or VM + cash, but I'll take a look at anything.

It's kind of goofy - I play with a pick in this band, and somehow I got it lodged under the top edge of the pickguard mid-set. In my haste to try to get it back I lifted it up and it cracked the edge of the guard, so anytime I even came close to hitting it during the rest of the set it flaked off little by little. I figured it was better to take the whole thing off after the set rather than leave the ****** looking flaky-edged PG on there. All the screws were taken out by a screwdriver later. I threw out the pickguard after, otherwise I'd be more than happy to include it. But to clarify, it's not like I ripped the thing out and damaged the screw holes after - it probably could have stayed on but looked pretty horrendous.
