$900 PayPal Shipped ConUSA lower 48 takes home a beautiful Desert Gold Bongo 5HH in really nice shape.
This is a relist. My previous listing had 1528 views with no sale.
I'm now offering it at what should be about the
BEST PRICE on PLANET EARTH
Only 9 lb. 7 oz. : )
The body/paint is in excellent shape and really pops in the light. The back of the body has a number of extremely shallow micro-dings that can be seen when the bass is held at an angle and light shines on it. There are a few fine hairline scratches which can be seen under close inspection as well. It still looks really sharp.
The electronics work flawlessly.
It has non-original strap buttons.
The pickguard has the normal hazy swirl marks from playing but is still glossy.
The frets/neck are in excellent shape. It seems that the original satin finish of the neck has been polished to a gloss. There is a tiny ding below the midpoint of the neck on the treble side near the 5th fret. There are a few hairline scratches that can barely be felt.
17.5mm string spacing at the bridge. The same as every other current production EBMM 5-string bass.
The headstock has a number of chips. The chips are most easily noticed when looking directly at the tip of the headstock... not something you do very often.
The case is in good shape with the typical surface scuffs from use. All the latches work fine and there are no cracks.
Other than swapping the pickguard to black ice, it is in exactly the same state as when I got it here:
Music Man Bongo 5HH Desert Gold (FS/FT))
I'm more critical of the flaws/details but it is a beautiful bass at a "once in a blue-moon" price.
