SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!
If you're not sure what you're looking at, I encourage you to do a search here on TalkBass. It is a "Stingray in casual clothes," as my friend fenderhutz says. It breaks my heart to sell such an iconic performer that plays and sounds this outstanding, but I have another SUB that I had Marty Bell do a sparkle refin on, so it stays, and this one goes. This bass convinced me that Music Man basses are for real. Growly, ballsy, tone to the bone, responsive tone circuit that will let you mellow it out if needed, this is it. 9v active, volume, bass, treble. 1.7" width at the nut. 9.4 pounds on my digital bathroom scale. Made in the USA. Currently strung with .045 to .100 roundwounds. Very pretty turqouise finish. Comes in a Music Man fitted HSC. Both bass and case are in excellent condition, there is a little scuffing at the top of the headstock, but that's about it. I know times are tough, but this is the whole package, so I'll offer it to my TB brothers and sisters for a limited time, and I'm pretty firm on the price. After a week or so, if not sold here, it goes to the 'Bay, where I know it will sell. $550.00 shipped CONUSA, I'll need you to chip in a little extra if you're in Alaska or Hawaii. No international sales, sorry.

Great basses. If the nut was 1.5 I would still have mine.
A black pickguard and radio knobs would be HAWT! |

Black PG and radio knobs would look great, I've seen lots of cool simple mods to make these really pop out visually.
Nut width is only 1.7" on this one...you sure you can't swing it for a mere .20"?

Getting the eBay template ready. Man, I thought these were more popular and respected, especially here on TB where people know what they're getting.

I'd be all over this one if I wasn't in the middle of negotiating a Sabre locally. Times are tough all over and I'm sure there would be more movement for the awesome gear on this board otherwise... |

This is causing me considerable anguish.
I'm visiting New Orleans at the moment, when I get back home to Denver on Monday this will go to the 'Bay.
Sorry TB brothers and sisters, I tried.
