FS: EBMM Stingray 4H Rare Color! (Relist)

Okay so this bass is really for sale this time. I posted it up a few months ago but moved back to school and the timing just didn't work out for me.

So, up for sale is my Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray. I bought this a few years ago at Guitar Center. This color was a limited run sold only at GC a few years ago from what I've been told. I haven't really used the bass too much the past year or so, it's just been sitting in the case for a while pretty much unplayed. There really isn't any chips or scratches on this bass anywhere, it's in great shape. The chrome and metal parts are a little dirty and could to be cleaned up a bit. The pickguard has some playing wear over the pickup but it's nothing too bad. Not much else to this bass, just a normal stingray in a cool color. Feel free to ask any questions, I'll answer the best I can haha.

I'm looking to get $1000. I originally posted this up for trade and while I still MAY trade for something, I'm really only looking for a sale at this point. The only trades I would even consider would be a Fender or Nash.

Pictures: New Pictures!

That's not a scratch you seen in this picture (left side) it's just a piece of dog fur, sorry!

This picture is just to show off the true color of the bass, in some of the pictures it looks a little dull.

The only mark on the entire bass. It's so small you wouldn't even know it was there but I felt like I should show it just to highlight the great condition of the finish on this bass.

Thanks for the interest!

Beautiful; what is the pick guard made of and what does the bass weigh?

Okay so one a bathroom scale the bass comes in at just about 10lbs.

As for the pick guard, I'm not entirely sure what it is made out of but it honestly feels like some sort of metal, I could be wrong though. The front feels like a thin sheet of some sort of metal but the back looks like it's some manufacture material. The pick guard is very thin . I took some picture of just the pick guard for you. It is the original pick guard that came on the bass just incase you weren't sure.

The color was called 'Copperhead Bronze". The guard is actually a thin sheet of acid-washed copper laminated to a fiber substrate, similar to the S.U.B. checkerplate pickguards. These were a special run done in 2002-ish, and yep, pretty rare color. Definitely my favorite MM finish....

Free Copperhead Bump.

Man... that is one of the coolest basses I've ever seen, and I love Stingrays! Unfortunately I'm no where near being in the market for something this nice

I was actually going to buy this if the HH deal I was working on fell through. Unfortunately for you, it didn't.

Awesome color and I love the pickguard.

I bought this bass from you yesterday. I call it rusty rainbow. Keeps my '91 sr5 company now. I still want the original strap buttons if you have them. Just cleaned it up. Looks al
ost new. The headstock top did have some nicks on top. Also found another 2 tiny nicks on the back of the body closer to the bottom, but it overall it was a slamming good deal. By the way I own an '81 fender p bass MIA with an unlined fretless ebony board. If you're still looking for a vintage fender, check out 30th street music in manhattan (NYC), they have a very nice selection of older basses in awesome condition for a bargain. Hey I really dig driving to your town, it was very foresty and awesome. Made me picture myself with a band playing some death metal amidst the eerie greenery amongst the Appalachian mountains ;P
but seriously check out 30th st vintage, it's right between 7th and 8th avenues, can't miss it once your on that block.
