I don't know why I do this to myself. I fall for the allure of a 'Ray in the store, buy one and then fall out of favor with it a little while later. This one's my latest failed attempt at convincing myself that I like Stingrays. She's in fantastic condition and I have the original hardshell case. The finish is honeyburst and it has a rosewood fingerboard. The current strings are DR Fat Beams.
I'm asking $1200 plus shipping from ZIP 22032.

Stunning perfect bass, just wow. I fall out of love for my Sterling for a day then I play it with music & live & I soon remember why it fits perfect.
Go ahead & hate the sound in your bedroom but love it live.
What a beauty, I wish I was local.

What type of music do you play? The HH is super versatile although you will never EQ the growl out of the D string & get it to sound like a P. It has a pronounced mid range like a J but a different sound. The G string is a little weaker than a J but its a tone machine for rock.
I can understand why people would sell their stingray, but I'm a fan of collecting multiple basses for different sounds. Somedays I'll pick up the J, P or Sterling... depends on my mood. I think you need all of them.
Someone get this bass!

I can totally understand where you are coming from. I personally like to change tone on the fly & have a hard time with my J. For a versatile cover band I'll ALWAYS grab my HH Sterling over the J though.
Good luck boss.
