He stripped the bass in the early 80s and gave it a natuarl Varnish finsh that looked pretty bad. I stripped the varnish off grainf illed and matched the finish in the neck pocket and pickup cavities so now it back to the original color. This bass was rarly played and all the chrome looks like new as does the finis, being nitro it should wear in nicely.You can see my finish work here,

4th Early 80s Kramer Duke. Aluminum Neck in great shape with 2 shallow finish cracks. They run 3/4 of the length of the body but you can't really feel them. This thing has a strong pickup and a new set of rounds. Plays and sounds incredible. Price may seem a bit high but if I don't sell it I won't be sorry.
