FS: EBMM STINGRAY SLO 4H STEALTH (ebony) 2 Attachment(s) So I'm continuing with the slim down. Here's my stealth Stingray SLO. Its got the spiffy ebony neck that looks sooo much better than he rosewood version. This is the 1.5 inch SLO neck width. Nice setup, with low action and straight neck. bass is intonated. Any and all scratches are pictured.. They look worse in the lighting than under normal conditions. please note the one under the bridge. its not visible from the top. comes with oshc. there is one corner crack on the case that was there when I got it. case is otherwise practically new and functions perfectly. $950 shipped in the lower 48 Attachment 314893 |

hey eyebk what name/flavor of black is that ? weight ? is the body color ebony ? |
its known as "stealth". its a flat matte black series they did..the fretboard is ebony. don't know the exact weight, but its lighter than my "heavy Stingray" that's right at 10lbs. |
Man, my favorite Stingray color combo ;) |
Might wish to consider a nice clean-up and new pics...:hiding: |
With the ebony fretboard, it's not just a color thing. I've come to appreciate ebony in recent months--on an SLO Special, Pedulla MVP and Yamaha BBNE2. it' ssnappy and punchy and a delight to play. |
I LOVE ebony boards. More of a warm punchy-ness if that makes any sense. I miss my Stealth SLO (HS) and if I didn't just buy my first ASAT, I'd be all over this at this price! GLWtS! Quote:

Trades? (Cough: 1976 Gibson Grabber in Wine Red with OHSC: cough). ;) |
Bump for a fantastic price and bass. I have a white SLO 4HH with black hardware and love it. You can't beat the thinner necks on the Stingrays. |

That's the one bottums up. Is there a black ray with chrome hardware laying around that donated to the spy vs spy project? Sorry for the threadjack eyeball, this will be my last one. |
The stealth I grabbed the hardware from was an old beat up rosewood model Stealth with the standard 'Ray neck I found on the GC used site for a song. It eventually got parted out mainly due to curiosity (and let's just say I'll never do that again. Lost my shirt!). My last hijack-bump as well. |
