FS: Elrick Gold e-volution 4-string 7.3 lbs

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD SOLD SOLD Just the facts. Purchased this from the original owner:

Elrick Gold e-volution 4-string fretted (2010 build I believe)
Burl myrtle top
Ash body
3-piece quarterswan maple neck
Birdseye maple fingerboard
34" scale
1-5/8" nut
Bartolini JJ pickups
Bartolini 3-band preamp with 3-position mid switch and active/passive
Hipshot bridge/tuners
7.3 lbs

Bass is dead mint condition. I'm wedded to my Rob Allens and my PJ so this isn't going to get played. Versatile tone, low/fast action, and light with great balance. Includes the Elrick case, allen wenches, and currently has a recent set of Fodera nickel strings. Also including a new set of Cleartone strings as well.

$1750 shipped in the CONUS obo

Wow!!! I compliment a lot of basses in the classifieds, but I know for a fact this model Elrick is the easiest playing and most comfortable four string I have played bar none! This is truly a bass I would buy in a heartbeat if I had $1,900 handy!

Who knows, if it takes you a long time to sell it, I might be able to put something together. This bass would be worth an extended stay on the couch!

It plays like butter. Nut is 1-5/8" (my personal favorite). Unfortunately not interested in any trades.

34" scale. Very easy to play, very easy on the back. And compared to a new Elrick (or other comparable basses), very easy on the bank account

A few more pics of the case, extra set of Cleartone strings, and the gorgeous grain on the top and fingerboard as well as the neck fit.

$1750 shipped in the CONUS.

Do you have any soundclips or videos of the bass?

Are the pickups 60's or 70's placement, or something different?

Not sure exactly how the pup placement compares to Fender spacing. With the 3-band you can tweak the tone a fair amount.

Someone should buy this bass before before I do something frivolous.

Quick and dirty recording. First is neck pup, then bridge, then both. Eq flat.

Man, that sounds GREAT! I'll bet you can feel those tones in your chest when you play the low notes. If I had the money I'd be on this!

Tone is awesome, the bass is light and perfectly balanced, and the pics don't do the wood justice.

The Elrick I once owned is one of those basses I regret having let go...
