FS: Elrick Platinum 6

I've done this several times, but for financial reasons, this time it's for real.

This is a pristine Elrick Platinum 6. Rob's stuff is insane, and an insane deal. Lightweight, very comfortable, sleek, fast neck, EXTREMELY low action. Here are the spec's:

~ Ash body
~ Walnut center block
~ 3 piece maple neck through body
~ Bubinga board
~ 24 medium frets
~ Burl, figured maple top
~ Bart NTMB pre
~ Aero single coil J's
~ Dunlop straplocks
~ 35 in scale
~ Approx. 9.4 lbs

The tone of this beast is hard to explain - it's extremely punchy, but it's got sustain for a month. The note definition is fantastic, not muddy at all, and the bubinga board provides a lot of warmth, but can still be nice and snappy for slapping. Exactly what a boutique, exotic 6 should be!

this bad boy should be an 2008. look at the serial number inside the cavity. either the first 2 or last 2 is the year.

i bought it in 08 and i swore it said that inside. i could be mistaken. but i am pretty sure it is an 08.
