FS: Epiphone EB-0 with threaded neck inserts

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

For sale is the Epi EB-0 described in this thread:

Installing threaded inserts (insert nuts) on a neck (long)

This is a like-new EB-0. I bought it new, but with stripped neck screw holes. I used that as a chance to install threaded metal inserts - the result is that the neck is as solid as a bank vault! You'd pay another $100 for your local luthier to do the neck inserts, but you can buy this EB-0 for $140 plus shipping.

The neck is mounted with three chrome-plated bolts and one stainless bolt holding the strap mount. The fourth chrome-plated bolt will be included so you can have them match if you move the strap mount.

I was going to install a pair of T-bird pickups in this and make it a short scale EB-3, but I found a 60's Gibson EB-0 with two pickups so I don't need to customize this one. I'm passing it along.

There is not a nick, mark or scratch anywhere on it - it's like new with threaded inserts. See the bar code label still on he rear electronics cover in the photos below. The bridge has a tiny buzz, but I suspect it will be easy to solve by making sure the saddles are well secured.

PM me and let's get it to someone who will use it!
