To clarify all work was done on the neck and the neck pocket is still the original Epi T-Bird size? And do you find the positioning of the G string causes any playability issues? How is the feel overall? Can you still get a solid setup with the "issues"? (curve radius, nice low action, no fret buzz, etc)
And I don't know much about EMG, TBirds, etc. If these pups are similar to Ps does this thing sound similar to a double P? |

You could slap a tbird neck in here no problem. The bass plays fine, meaning, it plays, The action is kind of high for me (I like it real low). You definitely could play it out. I would heavily recommend getting a new neck because of the fitting issues in the neck pocket.
In regards to the EMGs, yes it sounds like a double active EMG P pickups. I am not exagerrating when I say it sounds like a monster lives inside of this bass, it sounds really chunky. My advice, get a Tbird neck, or if you're good with a router, a new Fender style neck. Only reason I'm including the neck in the sale is if you want the tuners or want to experiment with it yourself. |

I always used to see Tbirds on craigslist, my music store, etc. but now I can barely find any. |
