SOLD.

Had this one for a bit hardly ever used it... it sounds very very good, I installed a set of flats on her.... big time vintage vibe, great tone. I also purchased a gigbag made for a 34 inch scale "V" bass but it works very well for this bass as well.

Description
Epiphone Korina Flying-V Bass AW Limited Edition, electric bass guitar, korina body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, 30" short scale, 22 frets, 2x Epiphone bass humbucker pickups, 2x volume & 1x tone controls, 3-way switch, gold hardware, limited edition logo on the back of headstock

$300.00 shipped in the CONUS only.
Thanks for looking

Always liked the V's and Explorers....Tempting

Love the way it looks...But hesitant about how it would actually play?

Whats your take on the playability of this baby?

Right now I currently play Musicman.....Alembic...Warwick...G&L.....

Wanna make sure this will get some playtime.......

Looks like it is in nice condition from the 2 pics...

Hello, I installed a straplock on the top horn, with a strap, balance is no problem, on your knee well lets just say it can be a problem
the action is low, tone is definitely vintage I really dig it with the flats on her. Tones don't vary all that much but the tones it does get are very musical and useable.
I do not believe there is a mark on this bass it is "like new" I just don't play it all that much and Im trying desperately to save money for something else, so up she goes.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

This is tempting... How did it sound with the rounds on it? I mean, I dig a vintage tone, but the flats just aren't for me. It's got a cool old-school look to it (V basses just scream "VINTAGE!" to me). Do you think it would be suitable for upbeat, indie stuff? Does it have the kind of "thud" that people associate with short scales, even with the rounds on it?

Rounds gave it more of an edge, still a heavy vintage type tone, IMO, I do believe it would work well for rock/indie music for sure. The bass "sits" well.
Thanks
