This is a
1995 Epiphone Rivoli semi hollow bass. It was made at the Peerless factory in Korea. It's all original except for the addition of a professionally-installed
1968 Gibson EBO pickup. Skip Goez here in St. Louis, who is rumored to have worked on Clapton's Blackie Strat, did the install.
The bass is in really nice shape. There are a few nicks here and there but nothing major. The finish is really stunning.
I actually dig this bass a lot, it just doesn't fit with the new band I've just joined and it's time for fund something that will.
The pickup cover for the Gibson pickup would not fit without routing. So the pickup has the Epi pickup cover on, which fits the pole pieces of the Gibson pup perfectly.
I will include the original Epi pickup and the Gibson pickup cover. I'll also include the original Epiphone hard shell case and three sets of strings- the D'addario rounds that are currently on it, a set of Fender flatwounds and a set of LaBella nylon tapewounds.
I'm asking $650 plus $50 shipping in the lower 48.
