Well, it is unfortunate to see this go because this bass has a great sound, but my gear situation is calling for a massive revamp...This is a relatively new SX jazz bass ((less than a month)) that my girlfriend got for me a bit back. Allow me to clarify that she understands my necessity to make a change and it was her that suggested moving this, so it's all good.
Anyways, I digress. This is a great playing, looking, and sounding bass. Period. I'm sure it could benefit from a pro set-up, but it has been doing just fine for me without amidst my lack of funds to have it done. No sharp frets and intonation sounds pretty good, just needs some neck and action adjustment. As is the nature with some SX basses, there are a couple verrry minor finish issues. They won't show up on pictures and aren't noticeable enough in person to have bothered me.
I'm going to go as far as to say that this is one of the better ones to have left the factory over there, so my loss is your gain. New low price is $100 + shipping! EDIT: I will accept paypal, but strongly prefer a money order. It allows me to ship to you sooner.

| | | | Gah man, you and all these sweet jazz basses you're tempting me with........what's the finish on the neck like?

| | | | The finish in the neck is pretty glossy, but not overly sticky. The best example I can think of is if you've played a epiphone thunderbird standard ((great bass also)), it isn't nearly as bad as that. There are two imperfections that will not show up on a camera, the first is that there seem to be two minuscule flakes of white paint by the skunk stripe that seem to have gotten trapped under the gloss. The second, if you run your finger along the headstock you will manage to feel a small part that is just a bit rougher than the rest of the finish. |
