Hey guys, I'm leaving in a week and a half for Victor Wooten's Bass Camp but the finances are getting tight so I'm going to try and sell off some gear before I go. The two main items are these beauties:
F Bass BN5: asking
$2000 OBO
I purchase this bass new at Bass Northwest in 06 and it was my main gigging bass till I got my Nordy in November. Most of my playing during that time was in a contemporary country act and it was seriously perfect for that. I'm sad to get rid of it but it's just not getting the playing time it deserves these days and I can't afford to keep it around while being unemployed and going on this trip.
It's an ash/maple BN5 finished clear with the grain enhancement on the body. It has matching pickup and electronics cavity covers. Black hardware as you can see, with ebony knobs. It includes the original black F Bass gig bag as well.
I had a few modifications done over the years, but nothing that's not 100% reversible. I added a hipshot d-tuner on the B string for dropped A when needed, though I do still have the original tuner somewhere. I also had the preamp re-wired for Volume-Blend rather than Volume-Volume. I believe I also have the original 2nd volume pot around here. All of the work (and setups) on the bass was done by Mike Lull.
It's in good condition, but it has been played for sure! There are a couple of worn down spots on the finish (over the neck pickup and by the lower cutaway being the most extreme) but they are hardly visible from any kind of distance at all. You can't even see them in my photos. The top of the headstock has the few standard dings in it and there is one little worn patch on the neck. Something slid up against the neck and kind of took off the finish in that one spot so the wood is discolored and it feels a little rough. I don't touch that part of the neck while I play, but ymmv as to weather it's a problem or not.

I've done plenty of recordings with it so I'm going to gather up some good sound samples and post links to them here. For now though here is a youtube camcorder vid of the bass in action:

$2200 OBO
This is one of my favorite fretlesses I've ever played. I'm not a huge fan of Warwicks in general but this thing is awesome. I got it back in 04 also from Bass Northwest but it was used, from New Zealand originally I think. I also hate to get rid of this thing but I found that I just didn't play it very often. It would only be a few songs a gig that needed fretless and usually it wasn't worth the time of switching basses. Then I wouldn't play it for long periods of time and my intonation would be horrible when I tried to play it.
The bass is in good condition, but the gold hardware is starting to loose its color in a lot of spots. There is also a pretty significant wear spot in the body of the bass just above the neck pickup where I, and the previous owner, rest our thumbs. The fingerboard is in good shape, and everything works perfectly. Though I've had it for a long time to give you an idea of how much play time it's had I've only changed the batteries in the preamp twice.
It includes a custom flight case which I got with the bass. It's super high quality and I've used it on 2 occasions with no issues what-so-ever. The color of the wood on the flight case also matches the bass pretty well if you care about that kind of thing
I'm also going to gather up some sound samples of this guy and I'll post em once that's done. If you have any questions just ask! Full gallery available here:
