Fretless five string from F Bass. Two alder wings on a birdseye maple center block, finished in Sunburst. Maple neck with a 34 1/2" string scale and a 28-position gabon ebony fingerboard. Two matched-wood-covered single coil (with hum-defeat switch) FBass pickups through a 3-band boost only FBass preamp circuit. Black hardware and the Alain Caron model Ebony bridge (no peizo). Vintage 1998. (I do not have the weight)
F Bass gigbag included. Also included is one new set of Fbass strings
This is an amazing bass, one of the best playing and sounding I've ever played. Smooth as silk both ways. Just gorgeous sounding. For those not into an unlined fretless, Fbass puts side lines where the frets would be on the side of the neck, so it's almost like a lined fretless to you, but the audience can't see. The side dots are there as well of course. There is a small nick in the headstock which is in the pics, and there is a little buckle rash on the back and a very small nick, which you can also see, but generally this bass is in awesome condition, which you can see. Also cool is it has an alder body, the new versions come with Ash. Like I said, it really sounds amazing. The ONLY things I may consider trading for are a 5 string Sadowsky. $2850 $2750 shipped CONUSA
