FS Feeler: '04 Lakland Skyline Hollowbody - Inca Silver w/ Dual Darkstars *NEAR MINT*

I'm putting out a feeler on this one; still not sure I want to sell her as I KNOW I will regret it! I reserve the right to come to my senses and pull this at any time (especially if I sell some other gear). But I'd like to try some other things ... GAS ... yada ... yada ... yada ....

I'll part with this beauty for $1475 + shipping / insurance. Paypal OK. **SALE CURRENTLY ON HOLD... I MAY BE KEEPING THIS GEM. SORRY FOR ANY TROUBLE / GAS FLARE UPS! WILL REVISE THIS AD IF IT GOES BACK ON THE BLOCK**

Comes with Lakland (TKL) OHSC. Currently strung with brand new (still "sticky") Ken Smith Slick Rounds. Will also include a set of Lakland JO Flats cut for this bass.

I'm the second owner. This bass has never left my house (except for a photo shoot in the front yard on Sunday). The PO rarely used it and it shows. It's in NEAR MINT condition. The only flaws I can find are one small finish scratch on the body under the base of the neck and one light ding to the headstock (both shown in photos).

This is a 2004 model (Crafted in Korea) , reportedly one of the first Skyline HBs off the line. Lakland indicated that very few of these came from the factory with the Darkstar pickup upgrade. Everything you have read about these pups is true. This bass sounds fantastic and is surprisingly versatile and very dynamic.

This is my first Lakland and I was blown away by the fit and finish of an "import bass." Absolutely the nicest neck I've ever played. I'm actually GASing for a Skyline GLAUB right now as I think it might be a bit "more my style." But I'm hoping I can figure out a way to keep this one too! (make me a offer before I sell something else)

High resolution pics here.

Please PM or email with Qs. Email will likely get a quicker response. Thanks.

Please no trades.

I've put a deposit down on a Skyline Glaub, so no trades please.

PMs replied... still available.

Damn. That is one gorgeous bass. I may have to subscribe to this thread in the event that you put it back on the market.
