'69 P bass, the real deal. Body refinished (professionally) in Firemist Gold. All parts original to the best of my knowledge except pickguard and maybe one pot. Had some repaired routing under the guard (done VERY well). Will provide detailed pics as necessary.
Not sure I want to do this; only for sale in order to raise money for other needs. I might pull this ad anytime, so please be understanding if so. Thanks. More pics to come.
$1975 plus actual shipping.

Also, to clarify: not interested in any trades on this at all. Wouldn't be for sale if I wasn't trying to raise cash.

| | | | Hmmmmmmm, OK lets try it this way.
Just a few questions, what is the width at the nut? looks like it could be a "B" neck (1 5/8 ) do you know who did the refin on the body? can you confirm that those are in fact the original pick ups ? I,m very interested in this bass
thanks |

The refin was done by a local lutherie shop here in Des Moines (this was before I owned the bass), and they do excellent work. Pickup is original, yes. I can provide pics of details later today after I'm home. Thanks for the questions.
For some reason I'm having trouble responding to PMs with my phone, so any messages will be answered later this afternoon.

Back of body and neck are very clean. A couple minor chips in the body, which I will show in another photo. Looks like 2 bridge saddle screws might not be original, as they're a little shinier.

Only real chips:

Bottom line in my opinion: it's not a mint collector's piece, but if you can find a cleaner, cooler looking '69 for under 2 grand, you should jump on it.
