Battle scarred 1973 P in natural. This has been my #1 bass for the last 8 years, the previous owner was a gigging musician and played the crap out of it as well.
Super punchy meaty awesome rock bass. The action is super low and perfect for pick style playing. Stays in tune forever, feel and playability are great.
This bass has had some work done to it over the years. Dmarzios were installed when i bought the bass, and they actually died about 5 years later (basically fell apart.) I replaced with a new set of dmarzios in about 2007. This bass had been played so much I had to get a refret after I bought it, about 2002 (jumbo frets, pro job.) Tons of cracks and nicks\gouges in the finish. Rolled chipped edges. Non original pickguard\thumbrest\knobs. Both strap buttons have been redrilled a few times. Weighs exactly 9 lbs 2.10 ounces. Considering the condition and non original parts, I'll start this off at $1300...about the same price I paid in 2002.
