Well, here it is. The infamous/famous, glorious, boat anchor, grunge machine, funk machine, can do it all.. Black Eagle. All original except one of the tuning screws. I just recently purchased this last month and absolutely love it. The HUGE body (which weighs around 12-13 pounds or so) has sustain forever. With the right strap, you most certainly get used to it, unless you are 6'7

Currently strung with EBMM Slinkies (with the E string being 105) it has a very comfortable action and sits beautifully in a live or recording based operation. You can literally EQ this thing anyway you want and do NOT have to worry about being heard.
Anyway, I have the original case for it as well, although it is a TAD bit beat up, it still is the original and protects the bass when it needs to. Here is the original thread from December with some extra shots of the original case.
'77 Ibanez Black Eagle
This bass DOES have the headstock "design/cut-out" intact which as some of us know, is "rare" to see. It has its fair share of markings, nicks, and bruises as well, but other than that, it is in GREAT shape. AFTERALL, IT IS a 36 year old instrument
I will be posting additional pictures later today if a serious buyer is interested. I don't really want to sell this and am reserving the right to pull it if I come to my senses.
For a price (took a while right?)
I am asking $1375 shipped and insured in the United States. International buyers, PLEASE contact me and we can possibly work something out, although I would prefer a USA sale. I am only selling because I need to start paying back some college loans and things - among other reasons.
Absolutely, positively, NO trades of any kind. They will be politely ignored.
Thanks!
