This is my first real bass, bought locally in 1978, when I was 13. I'm not playing it, and I just can't see going back to 4 strings. I sometimes think that it's silly to keep something that goes unused. I'm checking the waters.
So, the Peavey T-40 Made in the USA. You know it. You love it (except for the weight).
The Bass - Fully functional with condition consistent with age. There are a number of various marks and visible wear, some buckle rash, round-wound marks on the pickup covers, and some pitting typical of these basses.
OHSC - Handle was replaced and the compartment covers are gone.
