Up for sale is a 1984 Ibanez X series DT-650 destroyer (explorer) bass.
This is the P/J version in black with cream binding.
The bass is mostly stock.
The bass has been well played and shows some good signs of wear.
Dents, scratches, a hunk of binding missing, and so on.
The bass plays great and has a great broke in feeling.
The scale of this bass is a medium scale, 32".
I cleaned and set the bass up.
It has a aftermarket bridge with the original (corroded) bridge included.
It has Dimarzio clip lock strap locks installed and I have one original strap button.
All else is stock.
The bass does not have a case.
I can provide detailed pics to serious buyers.
$250 shipped PayPal

Awesome. I even have the case for it. No really. My '81 RS924 came with one. Somewhere in London there is a Destroyer with no case...

This is so COOL for my classic rock band and I am really into Medium Scale these days.
Too bad there is no case - that will not be easy to find.

What is the nut width??

Soft cases are easy to find a hard case, I'm sure, is not. 1 1/2 at the nut.

I wear it so low I don't notice but ill double check. I imagine not as bad being its 32" scale. I can send you some pics if your interested. Honestly last couple people turned it down because of condition. She is not a show piece

I'd buy this if I wasn't saving up for another bass. GLWTS.
