Just want to put this out there and see what kind of offers I can get. I got a 6 string Cliff Bordwell fretless bass with the following specs-
-6 string Ball bass
-Mac Ebony top
-Walnut Core
-Bloodwood back
-Maple and Wenge neck
-Bloodwood fretboard bound by Ebony
-Aguilar 3 band with Nordstrand SC
The bass is in mint condition! Not a ding or scratch on the bass!!! The only bad thing is, the trust rod sockets were too shallow, and the B string side trust rod socket is stripped. The C string side trust rod is still okay, but I wouldn't trust it for long. The bass still has a perfectly straight neck with PERFECT action, but it needs to have both trust rods replaced. I have talked to Cliff, and he said that he will send me replacement ones if needed. I have aslo talked to two different people to get them replaced, and it looks like it is going to run about $300 dollars.
I don't feel like waiting to get it fixed, because I am looking for more money for Markbass equipment!
I bought the bass new for $3200, asking $2000/OBO shipped conus.
Not looking for trades.
The bass was signed by Victor Wooten on the back of the headstock. I even got a picture of him playing it.
