FT: My '92 Ric 4003 Fretless Mapleglo for your 4003 Jetglo w/Frets

Sign in to disble this ad
Soooo....I have decided that I definitely want to trade this beautiful fretless Ric 4003 with Ric-O-Sound in fantastic playing and physical condition. Amazing instrument, and given to me as a family heirloom of sorts, but it fits none of my current music projects nor does my skill level really make it very useful. I really love its vibe though so its painful to even consider getting rid of it.
I only have one thing in mind for trade....and that is a minty Rickenbacker 4003 with frets, jetglo, chrome hardware, pickup covers, and white binding.

Here's mine.....

you may need to toss cash in the deal depending on year and condition of your bass.

And the vintage style case stays with me unless yours comes with one exactly like it. I don't like the newer TKL hardshell style units.

Thanks!

This is a direct quote for TB Classified Rules

"If you post a "feeler" ad, you MUST post a price with it. This is not an auction site - If you want people to "bid" on your item, take it to ebay. Trade feeler threads are allowed, but if it turns into a FS thread, seller MUST post a price or the thread will be immediately closed or deleted."

I'd suggest posting a high price with the additional "or best offer" statement. Be forewarned, used Rics, even as nice as yours don't get a lot of high priced love here on TB.

Thanks! Yeah - it sounds killer with the flatwounds and with the right approach can really cop a great upright jazz tone. Of course, cranked into my ampeg it sounds tops as well.

Looking for a FL? I'm not sure what you mean? I don't even know what a Bump is? Please excuse my ignorance.. I am interested in perhaps doing a a trade with you. My bass is in near perfect condition.. No buckle rash or anything like that..
