FS FEELER: COOL MODDED P BASS

Sign in to disble this ad

I built this a while back. It's a Allparts body, good feeling aftermarket neck (possibly an 80's JBP), Lawrence pickup (the Jazz pup is a "dummy"), nitro finish, etc.... everything that a good P Bass should be. It's modeled after an early 70's P Bass that has been modded. I need to keep the pickguard, as it was a gift from a friend, so the bass will be selling "naked" if I do decide to sell. Strung with Chromes...big, round P Bass tone with plenty of mid-low push. It has gotten a few more "gig scars" since the pics were taken.

SOLD !!! Paypal (shipped in the continental USA)

The only trades I'd be interested in would be old Danelectro/Silvertones, or Jerry Jones basses.

The dummy pickup has no windings on the coil - it basically just fills the hole.

Lucy - thanks ! It is a great playing and sounding bass.

stflbn - I love the guard - I'd include it with the bass (and charge more), but it was a gift, and it isn't in my nature to sell gifts.

Oh, and this is my daily bump !

Super cool looking bass. Love it. And I agree, the guard just completes that look perfectly.

Thanks guys.

I have some bills coming up fast, so I'm pretty open to offers on this bass. As long as they are "reasonably fair" I'll probably accept !

Just to answer a PM'd question that others might have....

Quote:
I don't have an "exact", but it is reasonably light...I'm gonna guess around 8.5 (it is only slightly heavier than my 69 P, which is barely over 8#), even with the heavy chrome (real metal) guard. The only reason I can guess this is because I can't play heavy basses...anything over 9 lbs gives me migraines, due to me having broken my neck. I play this bass regularly with no issues whatsoever. Great bass.

I hope this helps.

Oh, and I have a white 3 ply guard that might fit. I'll dig it out and ship the bass with that.
