FS Feeler- Custom FBass BN5

Sign in to disble this ad
Exceptional custom BN5. One of only three (I believe) ever made.

-34"(an upgrade as standard is 34.5")
-One piece FLAMED NORTHERN ASH body ( rare and an upgrade)
-One piece maple neck (back-an upgrade) with some flame
-Burl Redwood blocks (upgrade)
-Auburnburst (upgrade)
-Standard Fbass preamp and pups
-Newer more durable finish

The bass would be considered mint save for one tiny ding thats shown in the last pic below.

This bass sets up with lower action than any other bass I own, that, and its 34" scale puts this bass in the top category for playability. Sound/tone has all the Fbass qualities but with a bit of added cut/definition from the 34" IMO. Sounds big, warm, organic with some very musical high end sizzle.

I'm just throwing this up to see if anyone would be interested in a special piece like this, and if there is we should talk .

Pricing from George for this bass ordered from the shop with the options is $4,866 US. selling. Thats discounted from list. I'm letting this go for $3200 US plus shipping. I will ship anywhere but buyer pays shipping .

Thanks for looking!

Hey Dave, I dont know, objectively. I've sold many basses before this to accomodate some other purchases and also to take care of some other things in my life. I'm not really into selling this but I thought I'd take a shot and if its easy....well...it will help out. If not, I'm perfectly happy having it!

That is without a doubt the nicest looking FBass I've seen. And it's a 34" scale, wow! Wish I had the coin!

Bump for "FBass Beauty"!

I should also point out another feature about the bass- its been slightly thinned out from front to back which makes it even more comfortable to play. From time to time Fbass does this to a few instruments to keep the weight in the ideal range resulting in the bass having this nice side effect also.

Another thing I forgot to mention- IMO the one piece body and one piece neck add to the openess and dynamics of this bass...its lively and sounds good acoustically.
