This is my first bass that I bought 'straight from the factory'. You can see in the pics that it came to me NIB courteous of Bass Central. I pre-ordered her and boy is she amazing. Birdseye Maple, Serial # B050455. The blue is interesting, depending on the lighting it can be from baby blue to a darker shade. Still not sure if I want to sell her or not. She still has the body sticker on the back of her. I replaced the tort guard with a black one, and you can even see in my pictures there are a few with different color pickguards, couldn't decide what I liked best. ( I think chrome would be stellar!) I also tried to cutting the foam mute on the G string because it was muting the string even when flush to the body. The foam doesn't look the greatest on that single mute because the razor I used wasn't as sharp as I like, but it would be an easy fix. Hell, I bet EB would send you one.
Just picked up a great playing MM Jazz Bass that really brings the slap tone I want. Debating about putting flats on the Stingray and using it for non-hifi stuff...not sure if that would be fair to her.
As for trades I am expecting an ESP Vintage 4 in the next day or so and debating about whether or not that will stay. If she stays I might not be interested in any trades except perhaps a Rick 4003. If she doesn't stay, I wouldn't mind trading for a Pbass + cash or some other flat loving, mo town sounding bass. I am not into exotic basses.
Going to start by asking 1500 shipped to Cont USA. Feel free to message me reasonable offers. Paypal is fine, I have great feedback here and on ebay as well under the same user name. Includes Deluxe MM case with most if not all, the case candy. Currently strung with Half Rounds and I could have a set of Roto Rounds if you would like those on instead.
Here is a sample recording I did:
