FS Feeler: Fender American Vintage 57 RI-975$

I dont have any case candy, or the original case. The bass was never drilled for covers and they are not included. This is the bass, paperwork/hangtag and cheap chipboard case included for transportation sake and the original cord that came with the bass new.

The bass has a few small marks on the neck , verysmall I cant even take a picture. The body besides some light scratches and one tiny ding on the back is great. The bass is in really great shape . The bass is wearing fender flats currently , the original rounds are included.

975$ shipped or 925$+shipping , If you pay with a money order i will knock 25$ off eithier price

Beautiful! That's by far my favorite color on the '57 Reissues. I used to have one just like it, but foolishly sold it. Unfortunately, I'm bass-heavy right now, but you won't have any trouble moving this one.

I am not , first owner Lived and bought the bass in california , I am the 2nd bought it from him. He told me he never played it , and judging by the fact it came with original strings ( available if owner wants) in unused shape I believe him, I have owned it a month.

Bass was said to be from 2005.

I had a question about shipping, the bass will be packed so well whoever buys it will hate me for it, tons of peanuts, tape and cardboard.

I wish i had a legit way to weigh it. I cant play heavy basses and have sold 3 basses I bought without knowing the weight because of this. It must be light because it does not bother me , lightest P bass I have owned.

I did the inaccurate scale test . weighed myself and then got on with the bass and the difference was 8.7 pounds. I weigh 169.6 with the bass I weighed 178.3. However this can be inaccurate and I am not stating the bass weighs 8.7 pounds that was the difference. Could be lighter or more.

If I come across a better way to weigh I will post it.

If anyone has more questions or a need for pics let me know.

Seriously, someone needs to buy this bass. If I didn't already have a CS 59 P bass (same white/blonde finish but with a rosewood board) I'd be all over this. I'd buy it on general principle but my wife would have a cow.

I can't believe nobody has jumped on this yet. These are some of the nicest P's you can get... period! The one I had cost me more than this one and was not in nearly as good condition as this one is.
It's unfortunate that i'm so broke, or i'd have another P in my arsenal.
Jump on this guys, this is really a good deal.
