I'm selling my Fender Marcus Miller Jazz bass (4-string)
I'm the second owner. It's circa 1998, I believe, first year of production.
No issues. Condition is probably 9 to 9.5 out of 10 - a few minor swirlies. No dings or nicks. No mechanical issues. All original parts, as far as I know.
This bass slaps like a good MM should, and really pops and cuts through the mix.

Price drop: $850 + shipping.

I'm selling to fund purchase of more equipment, so I won't accept crazy-low offers.

JoeBass, thanks for that offer but I'll have to pass.
I'm going to close this for now, as I no longer need a fretless (Tony Franklin on order) and I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep the Marcus and the new fretted 5502 I just bought from a TBer, or, most likely, trim my basses down to just one fretless and one fretted (and the upright makes 3, which is as many as I really need).
This one may be on the block again later this month. Depends ...

It's back!
Reopening this, as I HAVE decided to fully convert to five-string. So I no longer need this bass. Pix coming tomorrow.

Yep, I'm liking 5 already, and I'm still torn between the BtoG set-up and the EtoC set-up. I've tried both, and I like things about both. If I can afford it, I might try to have two 5ers, one set up each way.
