Up for sale FEELER is my Fodera Imperial Matt Garrison Shape. The bass will not be available until January (when my new Fodera arrives) but I am trying to get a feel for interest in the meantime. I am going to be asking $8400 shipped conus insured paypal NO TRADES. NO TRADES. Did I mention NO TRADES ? :) thanks. If I have to keep it thats OK with me.
This is an awesome bass featured at 2009 NAMM (made in 2008), but the fact of the matter is I am more comfortable with 17.5mm string spacing and have a Fodera in the works that will replace this. I am the original owner of the bass.
The Bass Specs are:
-34" Scale, 5 Strings tuned B to G 19mm spacing
-Full Size imperial body with matt garrison shape
-Walnut Body Wings, Ash Tone Block, Ash Neck, Beatiful Ebony Fingerboard
-Buckeye Burl Top
-Seymour duncan dual coils
-Ebony Ramp (added later)
-Weighs 10.8 LBS
*Condition is excellent with only a few minor dings I will add pictures of later.
**Sound clips / videos will be posted on request.
***Bass sounds incredible, piano like tone with deep lows and capable of smooth jazz walking and aggressive slapping. Very versatile and plays like butter.
Thanks for looking!

This, IMO, is really one of the very best tonewood combinations for an MG-style Imperial. I have an MG Sig in 33" scale that is different only in that it has Horse Chestnut top and 33" scale length. Something about the Walnut and the Ash neck that just kills...
The note density in my MG Sig is dense and precise. I cannot imagine how an instrument could sound better. "Piano-like tone" is right! If this is anywhere in the same ballpark, it must be amazing.
Great price on this, too...
Thanks Mike, I absolutely agree. I have another fodera with basically the same woods, sounds awesome.
