I bought this new back in July and really love the looks of this bass. Its got that beautiful teal finish, a matching headstock, and has been pleked. But I've come to realize after owning 4 or 5 nice jazz basses and variations thereof, that it just isn't my sound.
Only 100 of these made. I'll post better pics later.
FS Only.
I'll get better pictures later, but here's a quick snapshot. This bass is in 9.99/10 condition. I won't say mint because I've played it for a few hours, but there are no issues.
I want $1100 shipped (paypal echeck/money order/cashiers check preferred). These run about $1325 new if you can find 'em, and thats what I paid for it approximately 6 weeks ago.
Its double boxed, minty, polished up, and ready to go shipped in a generic gigbag.

Case or bag?
Does a Mesa M6 or MarkBass F1 interest you?

just confirmed, all skyline 55-60s are ash. link to lakland specs http://www.lakland.com/44-60.htm
I have a Mesa M6, if it were an M9 we'd be talking.
unfortunately I don't have a case for it (they don't sell with them anymore), I have a pretty cheap gig bag that it MIGHT fit in that I could thrown in. Problem is, its a fairly long bass and dosn't fit in all cases and bags. I'll check tonight.

Bumpage for a great bass!
PS -a Skyline JO5 is the only Skyline I still own (all of the rest are US models)....something about JO5s that make them really rival US models!

I had a Skyline JO5. (Awesome bass, BTW) and the bass fit nice in cozy in the common-variety SKB Freedom case sold at your local GC or the like. IIRC, the case was less than $100 and worked beautifully.
That said, if the Freedom worked, it stands to reason that a variety of multi-purpose cases would work as well.

Playability like butter, super growly j bass sound, ballsy bridge pickup that burps so loud you'll have to say "excuse me". And a paint job that'll make you say "oh my!" like George Takei when you take it out of the well packaged double boxed shipping that its already sitting in at THIS very moment.
Oh, its also got clay lookin' dots.
