FS Feeler: MTD Kingston Saratoga 4 w/ EMG's

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is my MTD Kingston Saratoga. Got this one about two weeks ago and it is nothing short of fantastic however I just prefer my Fender and Musicman. So here it is for sale.

This bass is new. It has one minor blemish that looks like dust right between the pickups where the screwdriver slipped during the pickup installation. I have upgraded the pickups to an EMG J-set and a EMG BTC Preamp. The original pickups, wiring and pots are included as well. This bass is light I am going to guess easily in the low 8's. The bass is more black than brown. Outside is the only place you can really see the transparency of the finish.

The bass will include a matching brand new MTD Gigbag ($100 list and I don't know street price) which I paid for above and beyond the price of the bass.

New prices on this bass include the following:
$489 Saratoga
$159 J set
$89 BTC
$50 gig bag
_______________
$787 total if you were to replace it as is

My price is $450 $425 shipped in the lower 48 states. Paypal okay.

The only trade I am interested in is a GenzBenz STL-10T speaker.

Specs...

How is the neck/ nut width compared to your Fender basses?
I am a jazz neck fiend and wouldn't want to pursue this if it "feels" wider than A Fender 1-1/2".

I know the specs on the MTD site say 1-1/2"...Just curious what your thoughts are.

Thanks!!
