FS feeler: Nordy vJ4 w/ Brazilian board

I'm reposting this cause I'm now living in depression.

I so hate to do this, but I have bills to pay.

When I purchased this bass, it had a significant paint chip on the headstock that I have since had repaired (by Michael Dolan) with paint mixed up by Carey to match the original color (aqua teal). It is loaded with passive big singles... has the Brazilian rosewood neck upgrade and truly sounds killer.

As this is a feeler (and I'm getting closer to selling), if I decide to sell this, I will be asking $1750 + shipping.

Anyone interested?

I would buy this except that my Nordy is coming this week. SO gorgeous. Stands out among the rest of the Nordy's to me.

I have similar specs with RW and passive Big Singles.

I know some of you are probably doing to feel like I'm a d!*# teaser, but.... I finally received my belated paycheck today!

So, I'm going to (gratefully) withdraw this FS feeler.

Thanks for the kind words drnknmstr. I really didn't want to sell this because Carey does make amazing instruments and this one, while a bit plain (well, except for that brazilian rosewood neck) compared to other Nordys, is special (at least to me).

Oh, and for the record, the weight on this one is a bit more than I thought: 9.5lbs.

Is this the same one from the website? I also know Ari sold one of these a while back.

Mine is plain, too. Though if I got a 4 string version, I may get almost exactly that same setup. Except the Brazilian is so expensive now...
