The bass is a 1982 peavey t40, everything looks original to me. The wiring is very clean and looks like it was done yesterday. The guard is dated on the back 10-26-1982 and has the name Pam wrote next to it. The body is pretty clean for its age light scratches and some marks on it. The back on the neck has a few dings and one ding in the fretboard. Freatwear is very minimal , they have just been cleaned and polished. 1 of the bridge saddles chrome appears a little weathered and 2 of the tuners have some rust.
The original case is all intact and in fair shape
I would ship it USPS which is very fast shipping its not the cheapest but its the safest
As of now i am asking 425$ shipped another t40 just like this sold at this price on TB so i feel thats a fair price

Bump for a rare combo ---
If it was a T-20 it would be in the mail already.

I still have a replica of my first gigging bass, a maple/nat T40. Went through a few before I decided to keep this one. While I prefer maple boards, the T40s uses a one piece neck. This can cause some aging issues.
The rosewood boards ( traditional two piece) generally result in a much better aged neck which likely wont require fretwork like my two maple neck models did.
LCW, if you havent played with the phasing contols ( the tone pots + phase switch), this can do P or J or Rick without any modeling circuit.
