Trans red, gold hardware. Plays and sounds great. If you're looking you know these basses are boutique quality at an affordable price.
34" scale
Ebony fingerboard

Overall very good condition. Some wear to the finish, mostly on the back, difficult to photograph.

PRICE DROP
I'd like to get $500 shipped, will ship in a gig bag.
I'd consider a trade on a fEarful 15/6 cab or something VERY similar.

If I hadn't just spent some moolah on equipment for a new band, I'd have goobled this up faster than a Philly cheesesteak!

Free bump and a noob question.

What is the point of a D-tuner on a 5-string? I don't mean to be a smarta$$. Sincerely curious.

Well, a valid question, so pardon the HiJack...

It is possible to play Dropped "D" tuning on a 5er with B-E-A-D-G tuning. But, it's a LOT easier to play a song written in Dropped "D" on a 5er with the E dropped to D, and leave the B out...

That being said, This Peavey TL-5 is a Kick @$$ Bass! Someone will be Very Happy once they get it in their Hot little Hands!

Bump for a really cool bass, and a definite good breed of cat selling it. Back in the day, when I had my Dyna 5-string, I totally lusted after one of these. This is a great bass at a great price, and it looks to be in outstanding condition for something that's older than many of today's pop stars.
