Whoever owns or keeps this will be extremely lucky. I only wish I was in a position to make a move on this gorgeous instrument. |

Incredible instrument you have there. Hope it finds a home with as much love!

That's about $11,000 more than I can do right now so I'll just admire it from afar and wish you good luck with the sale (or not).
Thanks for letting us have a look regardless. |

BTW I have never seen one in charcoal frost. Very cool. |

I'd have to agree about the stack knobs too (although personally, I do actually prefer the playability of the '66 more). The '66 feels pretty much just like the pre-CBS stack knobs since it was made early enough in '66 to still have the smaller vintage frets, but the reason I like the way it plays even better is because the frets are rolled down before the binding so you don't feel the fret ends when you slide your hand up and down the neck. It's sorta the best of both worlds IMO.
I know I will regret it if I sell it, but the money would be nice too though. I won't run the ad forever so we'll see how it goes.. I'm guessing if I was willing to sell internationally, it would be gone already, but I've had things held up in customs for weeks before and I wouldn't want to take the chance of that happening with this bass! |
