ORIGINAL THREAD: FS Feeler: Musicman SR5HH Black Cherryburst

I'm putting this one back on the market. My wife and I have some medical expenses piling up, and we have to pay rent, so...

I'll do my best to answer some of the questions (serial number, pic of mark, etc) from the previous thread when I get home tonight.

Feel free to send any questions to lpbro@hotmail.com.

Thanks for looking guys!

Responding to a few questions:

- Serial number is E67208. I presume that means it's from 2008? (Not totally sure)

- Regarding the small mark on the back that I mentioned in the other thread. I... must have been on antihistamines or something. I flipped the bass over 10 times last night, and I couldn't find so much as a scratch on it. So, consider it in "like new" condition, given that it has pickguard swirlies.

- Price is the same as the other thread. $1200 shipped and insured.

- Oh, one other thing. BUMP!

That's a seriously nice looking instrument. I'm very tempted as I'm currently shopping for something just like this only I had been sort of sold on maple necks due to them somehow seeming to have better action. That could be an illusion of my own but for some reason I've consistently been getting those results when trying them.

Could you just say something about the action/playbility/feel? I do know that's an incredibly subjective thing depending on how you as an individual play the instrument but I'd still like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Thanks.

Hey Aztec!

Of course this is just going to come off sounding like I'm just trying to sell my bass, but you have my word that this is 100% truth!

When I first got the bass, it had the lowest action of any bass I've ever played. I naturally have a pretty aggressive playstyle anyway, so it was slightly problematic for me. I've actually had to relieve the truss rod a bit, and lower the pickups so that I'm not constantly smacking the pickup poles with the strings while I play.

So, trust me when I say, your left has to do very little work on this particular bass. If you like low action, this bass will deliver - that I can promise you!

Great guy and a great bass. This was mine for a while and it is missed. You will definitely not be disappointed. Good luck with the sale and with the medical issues. God Bless.
