FS-Feeler, Valenti Jazz bass

I just took this fantastic "Nino" Valenti Jazz bass in on trade.

You can see the bass on Valenti's website @ http://valentibasses7.blogspot.com/ It is #057.

It was originally built by Nino for himself. It has his handwriting and signature in the neck pocket. I would be happy to take photos of it for you if you like. You can read the specs on Valenti's website.

This bass is in prestine condition and has no issues what so ever. (black bridge has some where on it starting to show the brass through) Other than that I would say this bass is a 9.5 out of 10. I just set it up and levelled, crowned, dressed and polished the frets to make sure it plays perfect. Action is very low and it plays increadilbly well.

I'm asking $1,250 for this increadible instrument. Shipped to ConUS. International buyers please PM me for shipping qoute. To have one built would cost you over $2,200.

Don't snooz this one isn't going to last long. Or if I don't get my price I will keep it for my collection.

what kind of pre amp and pups?

It has Nordstrand 5% under wound Big Singles and an Aguilar OBP-1 preamp.

The UW BS's are a little brighter and aggressive compared to standard wound BS's.

Killer bass.

I thought there was a difference in the pickups, but didn't know what.
