FS Feeler Warmoth 72 Tele Bass Black/ Maple $550 PRICE DROP

Sign in to disble this ad
Amazingly nice, chunky thump or slap master- overall feel is a a lot like an early mm stingray with a fairly chunky J width neck.

here's the rundown-

-Warmoth 72 style tele bass body, w/ warmoth tort guard. Rear access, plenty of room for active electronics- although passive right now. Side jack plug- not currently set up that way.

-Gotoh quick release bridge

-Fralin 5% overwound P bass pickup

-Warmoth Jazz width Tele bass Neck, finished in amber tint poly (sprayed thin and wetsanded even thinner-) 1 1/2" at the nut, C profile, fairly chunky. This neck feels amazing. Zero wear on the frets.

-Gotoh res-o-lite vintage style tuners, NON reverse wind.

-Roadrunner polyfoam case- lightweight and nice.

I'm offering this two ways-
1. As a complete bass, assembled, shipped in the case for $650- $550 plus actual shipping.

-or-

2. neck taken off the body, shipped in a box without the case (saves you on shipping charges)- $600- $525 plus actual shipping charges.

so that's that. It's an amazing playing bass. Thick and sturdy feeling. Low action, intonation is dead on all the way up the neck. This bass rings like a bell, with sustain for days. The neck is chunky and smooth. No buzzes anywhere, and I tend to de-tune and play the strings loose-

Weighs in at 9lbs, 8 oz.

Fralin pickup has the vintage tone you'd expect.

Overall, I love this bass- but it's very similar to my main bass, and I just can't justify keeping two. It's much nicer than my main bass, and I might decide to keep it- but. we'll see.

any questions, ask away- no trades. I'll accept any forms of "no fee" payment- Check, MO, paypal-

thanks!

I purchased the loaded body and the neck separately, and joined them up. There wasn't an "original" neck to the body as far as I know. These two fit together like a machined fit- Warmoth's tolerances are highly commendable-

I see. This is what the bass originally looked liked afer I built it. When I 1st started building basses, I used Warmoth parts.
