FS Feeler: Warwick and Spector content

Don't particularly want to get rid of these, but... financial woes abound. I'm just seeing what options are at the moment but if I get a decent response I'll go for a sale.

Warwick Corvette Standard 4-string: passive, ovangkol neck, bubinga body, wenge fingerboard, bolt-on neck. Bought this new at Guitar Center back in 2005 and I'm bummed to have to let this go. Great memories with this one... but anyway, comes with a tweed hardshell case. Still have the truss rod, will throw in a 3 inch leather strap with the original Warwick strap locks, and also a can of Warwick wood polish that is about half full. Brand new DR Hi Beams and professional setup about a month ago. This bass has been my baby since I bought it so it's still in great condition. Only obvious blemishes of any kind is a little bit of discoloration next to the neck pickup from resting my thumb there while playing (it's about the size of a nickel and is hardly noticeable) and even more minor belt rash on the back (you'll only see this if you're trying to look at it). I'll put this one at $600 (or make me an offer...) with shipping included to anywhere in the CONUS.

Spector NS2000 4-string: neck-thru, blue color with all black hardware. Active EMG pickups. Also brand new DR Hi Beams and a professional setup about a month ago as well as a 3 inch leather strap (no strap locks here though, sorry). Very good condition, no obvious scratches or blemishes. From what I understand (and please correct me if I'm wrong), these basses saw a limited run in the late 90's so are relatively hard to find nowadays. This one does not have a hard case or a gig bag. However, I will gladly stop by a music store (GC or local) and buy one at your request and we can split the cost of that right down the middle. Bass without case will be $500 (or make me an offer) shipped anywhere in CONUS.

If you're outside CONUS, let me know and maybe we can work something out, but otherwise I'd like to keep it CONUS. Please feel free to ask questions through TB or you can call/text at 435.901.1020, I'll post pics of the Warwick tomorrow evening. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a reflection to me.

Good luck on the sale, tough time for Warwicks right now.

Nope no cracks, just a reflection. I wouldn't put it up with a crack in it; not a nice thing to do, passing issues on to the next owner.

Bump and price drop. Warwick down to $600, Spector down to $500. Make me an offer!

He started the warwick at 700 and just edited the original post. Spector was higher as well. Nothing scwewey.

Ah, OK. All I see is the (edited) OP at 600/500 respectively.....
Still a little pricey for the ns2000 IMO.

The Elmer Fudd quote was supposed to just be funny... no offense intended just my sense of humor...

That's why the prices are "or best offer." If you're interested and don't think the price is fair, send me a message with what you think is fair and I'll see if I'm ok with it.

No offense taken, sir.
