FS Feeler: Warwick Streamer Stage I 5-String (SSI)

SOLD

I bought this brand new in November of '2010. It's a '08 model. I haven't even registered for the warranty.

I haven't taken this out of my house. Played it a few time in my bedroom. Unfortunately, when taking it out of the hardshell case, I caused a few hairline scratches which I have tried to take pictures of. They are insignificant. The bass is otherwise flawless.

This comes with the hardshell case shown in the pics. Includes the guide, etc. All of that.

I am asking for $2000 plus actual shipping. I am in the Los Angeles area. So local pickups are better.

Hmm....how would you describe the sound, i.e warm & woody or bright & lively, etc.? I am unfamiliar but this looks very nice. What are the pickups?

Should be 20mm.

string spacing is 20mm but is adjustable to 19.

The bass has thunderous low and low mids and has a sweet high--that's with the pups balanced. It has a cleaner, more traditional sound than any other Warwick.

But with the pup towards the bridge, you get more of that growl and defined tone.

All in all, unlike most "modern" basses that have soapbars, this has a fatter tone; more character.

For a slap tone, listen to jamiroquai's emergency on planet earth. That's exactly what it sounds like. One unusual thing about this bass is that inspite of being neck thru, it is really punchy. I think it's because the entire thing is made of maple.

An excellent bass. I just can't justify keeping such a high end instrument at the moment.

Great song, played on a great bass. I agree with your opinion that it's a good example of what this bass can sound like.
