FS: Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass with upgrades

PRICE DROP 550 SHIPPED WITH HARD CASE

For sale is my Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass. Made in Japan. It has a neck like butter. Cool carved top look with a shiny piano black finish and cream binding. I have it set up for GHS pressurewounds 45-105. Intonation is right on the money. It has a P and a J pickup, each with its own volume control.

This one has been upgraded with a high mass bridge from a Guild Pilot bass(as best as I can tell). It looks like a pro job, and is a big improvement in sustain and adjust-ability from any standard p or j bass i've played. Certainly nicer than the bridge that fender Japan uses.

It also has seymour duncan 1/4 pounder pickups in it. Sounds great with loads of sustain. Thumpy, or grindy....your choice.

The condition is great. A few pick scratches here and there from gigging, but nothing through the finish. You have to hold it up to the right light to see any blems. Pots are quiet and noise free. Input jack is solid....etc.

Comes with a thick road runner padded gigbag.

Anyways, the Fender MIJ stuff is pretty well known to be as good or better than MIA, and I think this instrument is a perfect example of that. Plays and sounds like a top of the line instrument. Step up from that MIM or squire.

Will discuss any and all cash offers.

NO TRADES.

Thanks for looking!

It would be a possibility. You'd have to cover the shipping + the paypal fee for the currency exchange. If you want, PM me and give me your postal info and i'll go get a shipping quote this week.

Well, best i can do is ABOUT 9 pounds. My scale at home is digital and rounds off to the nearest pound. So give or take a pound on this.

Thanks,
Jacob

Someone else was interested to know when it was built. Serial # is R066221 crafted in japan which dates it to 2004-2005 production.

I have an aerodyne, it plays smooth as Vanilla coke.

Good luck with the sale/free bump

Working on shipping quotes for a couple of international buyers. Would prefer CONUS buyer.

Off to the bay:

International guys I'm still gonna get your shipping quotes on monday and we'll go from there.
