This is a bass that I've been debating on whether or not to sell because it's a pretty rare, yet highly-valued instrument. This is the much sought-after, Fender American Deluxe Precision V.
The bass is in excellent condition. It has the normal pickguard swirling and a tiny finish chip that I've shown in a photo. Besides that, it's in great shape.
Tonally, it sounds like a P-Bass but with the ability to dial in a whole lot of EXTRA at your leisure. Simply put, this bass smokes.
There's lots of threads on TB about this model but this is probably the best single one:
Fender discontinued the American Deluxe Precision 5!
I would truly be keeping it
(and I agonized about selling) but ultimately, my gig really calls for a more "Modern" suite of tones and my Cirrus is really nailing that for me.
