FS only, no trades please, Fender American P Bass 5, classic 3-tone sunburst with rosewood FB. The bass has a small ding about 1.5" in front of the bridge (not able to photograph) and the minor surface scratches from normal handling otherwise in excellent condition. It comes in a SKB hard shell case with Fender case candy. The bass sounds great, classic P-tone, I'm selling to help fund a new PA system for our church. Asking $925 shipped in the CONUS.
Thx, check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THITA...eature=related

I was thinking jazz, but I already have a "passive jazz" if I bypass the preamp on my current bass so maybe a different "flavor" would be appropriate...especially for horn band, R&B stuff. |

Will it work for your jazz stuff?....In short, YES. It's a great bass. They track beautifully and sound awesome live. I love mine and if I didn't already have one of these, I'd be bagging this one. I get more compliments on the sound of my P5 than any of my other basses. (including my 2008 MIA J5) |

Great offering here, Will. I especially enjoyed Ed F's video review of these Fender P's. I couldn't believe how clearly that B-string was ringing. He just kept hammering on it and it just kept ringing with noticeable clarity. Very impressive.
I know a drummer down there south and west of you that we both might have played with, so a bump for you and this new classic P.
