I had this for sale previously but there were too many difficulties between shipping and int'l money orders that I decided to post it for sale again.
Unfortunately I am no longer willing to entertain sales internationally and I'm not really interested in any trades. $850 Shipped LISTEN |

Good luck! | Sketchy? Asking for a serial number is a pretty standard thing for dating and the like. Not sure why that struck you as sketchy.
Nice bass. What finish is that. Not quite sure from the pics. Looks like a cross between inca and some blue'ish hue.

Serial Number = Z7224221
The color is indeed charcoal frost metallic.
I'm the second owner of the bass, I bought it off a guy locally and never planned on selling it. He put the different pickguard on it and I absolutely love how it looks.
Thing is I'm focusing on doublebass and only need one electric bass. I have a handmade one of a kind Eshenbaugh that is strung E-C and I'm too big of a Steve Swallow and Dave Carpenter fan to let that one go.
The local guy sanded the back of the neck down and coated it with a wax or lemon oil, I don't really know. It feels real nice and smooth but I wanted to include that.
Also there are quite a few dings on this bass. I gigged it lots and took it everywhere, I never cared as I never intended on selling the bass but I'll take pics if it's a deal breaker etc.
Thanks for the interest. |

It has been tried on me three times this month alone.
Including once on this site. we all have to watch out for serial number trolls! not saying anyone is, just saying it happens quite often.
P.S.
I believe that Fender calls that stunning color Charcoal Frost metallic.
Free bump for an awesome and rare colored bass. and being safe buying/selling one! |

The first thing I thought when I heard your clip was "THAT'S the reason I bought my 08 MIA Jazz!"
Of course I don't sound nearly as good playing mine as you do playing yours! But at least I know how good my bass COULD sound! lol!

I love this bass...a lot. I just don't need more than one electric bass and I currently have three. At some point or another, I'm gonna unload a couple of basses but I really don't care if it happens tonight, next week, or next year.
Having said that, most of the PMs I get are requests for more pics and weight and measurements. I will respond to those as best as I can but if you're really interested in this bass and purchase it from me you can check it out for 48 hours and decide if you want to keep it or not. You will, however, pay for shipping both ways if you decide you don't want it.
I wanted to disclose everything when I said there were some dings but I don't want you guys to think it was attacked by a weed wacker either. It's been played and it shows some wear but I'm not just trying to unload a jazz bass here by any means, this one is definitely a keeper and if I can help you guys overcome some reservations I don't mind doing that at all. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
