this one's gonna hurt .... I reserve the right to wake up and
cancel this listing.

Fender american vintage 57 RI precision two tone sunburst
gold anodized pickguard, tugbar, maple neck, new flatwounds,
tweed case, all the case candy, nitrocellulose lacquer finish,
reverse tuners, raised A string pole pieces.

I believe this is a 2009 but will confirm. Serial is V18xxxx
Not a mark on the bass that I can see. The case has a scuff marks on one side.

Pictures don't do it justice. Its a beaut and sounds great !

$1150 shipped CONUS.

TI or Rotosound--are they loose/flabby or very stiff?

great looking bass, body wood on these would be Ash.. the American Reissues are, IMO, the best real Fenders in production today.

red wrapings could be Lakland flats I believe.
if it's of any help - TIs and Rotos have wrapings on the ball end as well.

Thanks Air Leech

I believe they are roto flats ... red wrapping both ends.
I've seen doc that the body is ash .... its the lightest ash body I've
ever felt if that's true. My unreliable bathroom scale says 7.5lbs ... can't be right.
My bassOmatic fish scale puts it between 7.5 - 8.5lbs ... I'm gonna say
8 - 8.5lbs

Its not ash, you were right the first time. Ash ones are only for the blonde finish. Sunbursts are alder.

This is a good deal though and its got the raised pole pieces. One of my favorite Fender pickups and they literally don't make'em like this anymore. The new ones have the same pickups as the 62RI.
