FS: Fender American Vintage '62 RI Precision Bass

For sale is a 1998 American Vintage Fender Prevision bass. This bass is the classic James Jamerson "Funk Machine". It comes with the ashtrays and tug bar. The bass has some nicks on the body but overall is still in very good playable condition. Also comes with a vintage Fender hardshell case (with brown tolex covering). I am asking $1,000 shipped. Paypal accepted, money order preferred. The bass currently has a well-worn in set of La Bella flatwounds strung on it.

I'll consider trades but let me explain my situation. I'm looking for an acoustic electric guitar and some cash to get a cheapy (backup bass, like something around $300). So basically I would consider trading this for a moderately valued acoustic electric guitar and cash or an acoustic electric guitar and a cheap bass or majority cash and a cheap bass. Hopefully I've explained myself. Anyway, if you have something let me know and I'll consider it. Otherwise my asking price still stands.
