For sale only. Fender American Vintage ’62 Jazz Bass. Neck and body dated May and June, 2000. I’m not the original owner, but as best I can tell, everything on this bass is original—and it plays and sounds great! It’s in really good condition for it’s age, but it is not without the minor scars, surface scratching and wear that occur over time with a nitro finish. There are a few minor dents on the front of the body and some 1 to 2 mm dings along the top backside—but there’s nothing that gets in the way or is even all that noticeable when you stop looking for them. I’ve tried to capture the worst of them in the photos, but with a black finish it was really hard to do. However, the neck is free of any wear or mars that I can find and has that beautiful deep rich tint. Weight is 9.5 lbs. on my postage scale. I do not have the covers, but it comes with a virtually new Fender G&G brown tolex case.
